We are so excited to have TEAM KEVIN reuniting with new members to take on the Panasonic New York City Triathlon on behalf of the Elixir Fund. We will be profiling each member of the team in the months leading up to the race on July 19, 2015.

Next up is a new member to the team, Duncan Wilson. You can learn more about the team and support their fundraising effort by visiting their Crowdrise fundraising page.

Duncan is an elementary principal in Scarsdale New York.  He has been running sprint Triathlons for the past 10 years.  Last year, he completed his first Olympic distance triathlon. Why he is running?

“I am racing to honor two people who lost their battles with cancer this year. My Brother David James-Wilson passed in January and the Head Custodian at my school Anthony Lotto passed in March. This past year has taught me that cancer impacts families more than most people understand. The Elixir Fund exists to support cancer patients and their families. It is an honor to support this organization and “pay forward” those who supported my family. Both Dave and Anthony cared for others in their work and in their lives. I believe that helping other families is the best way to honor their memory.”

We are so excited to have Duncan join the team and are honored to be able to continue to share the spirits of David and Anthony through Ducan’s efforts.
