Meals

Restrictions on who is eligible varies from state to state, so be sure to contact your local Meals on Wheels office to see if you qualify.

Meditation / Yoga

Many studios offer free introductory yoga or meditation classes. A quick internet search will help you to find them, or feel free to contact the Elixir Fund if you would like help finding classes in your local area.

Lululemon Athletica – not only offers Yoga clothing, but many of the stores offer complimentary yoga classes as well. Please check their web site for a location near you and please CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR before doing any time of fitness or yoga. http:lululemon.com.

Emotional Support

Dolores DeGiacomo – Empowerment and Life Coaching – coaching for patients and their caregivers. Personal life coaching is available as well as coaching for stress management and coping skills, and much more. Coaching is available to anyone, anywhere and can be done over the phone. Initial 30 minute consultation is free. A 15% discount will be applied for regular coaching sessions. Seminar and group coaching discounts are also available. Financial Support

Cancer Care- Cancer Care is a nonprofit organization that provides counseling, support groups, educational workshops, and financial assistance to cancer patients. Available financial support varies based on the type of cancer you have but may include assistance with transportation, homecare, childcare, co-payments, and pain medications.
