Meals

Meals on Wheels –

Emotional Support

Cancer Hope Network – One-on-One Emotional SupportCHN is a national, non-profit support organization, which offers free, one-on-one emotional support to adult cancer patients and their families. CHN matches people going through a diagnosis with a trained volunteer cancer survivor who had a similar cancer experience and got through it. This support is provided via telephone by 400 trained volunteers who have all recovered and are once again leading productive lives.  By giving recently diagnosed patients the gift of Hope, CHN helps them to successfully cope with their cancer and its treatment. cancerhopenetwork.org

Cancer CareCancer Care is a nonprofit organization that provides counseling, support groups, educational workshops, and financial assistance to cancer patients. Available financial support varies based on the type of cancer you have but may include assistance with transportation, homecare, childcare, co-payments, and pain medications. Patient Advocate FoundationThe Patient Advocate Foundation provides “direct services to patients with chronic, life threatening and debilitating diseases to help access care and treatment.
