We are so excited to have TEAM KEVIN reuniting with new members to take on the Panasonic New York City Triathlon on behalf of the Elixir Fund. We will be profiling each member of the team in the months leading up to the race on July 19, 2015.

I have been competing in Triathlons for seven years. I enjoy it so much that I have made Tri training a way of life year round to stay in shape. Last year, I combined my passion for Triathlons with another passion, my belief in raising money for the Elixir Fund. Thus, “Team Kevin” was born.

Kevin and I were lifelong friends who shared interests including music, sports and helping people. “Team Kevin” seemed like a great way to honor Kevin’s memory and legacy. So last year 5 of Kevin’s childhood friends- myself, Jill McConnell, Susan Clifford, Erin Hoesly, and Suzie Baer- took on the NJ State Triathlon and this year we are challenging ourselves with an even bigger race, the NYC Triathlon. “Team Kevin,” which has a few new additions, has been training hard and now needs your support to help the Elixir Fund help others. It’s a great cause and a great way to celebrate Kevin McQuarrie. He would be so proud!
