We would like to introduce you this year’s TEAM ELIXIR for the TCS New York City Marathon.

Michelle D’Antoni

Michelle is returning to TEAM ELIXIR after running for us in her first marathon last year. Michelle’s participation is personal. She is running in honor of her mother who passed in 2017. “My mom was very fortunate for all of the support, care, and services that she had received during her fight. I would love to give back to others currently battling who aren’t as fortunate, those who have fought and won the battle, and in memory of those we have lost along the way. With your contribution, we can help provide support and comfort to those impacted by cancer. People don’t understand how important this organization is unless they’ve lived through it or personally experienced it. I want to make others aware of all of the great work that the Elixir Fund does and spread their mission statement to those who may need it.”

Ada Hoang

Ada will be running her first TCS New York City Marathon as part of TEAM ELIXIR. Through her work, she has seen firsthand the need for support programs for patients and caregivers. “I want to run the TCS New York City Marathon to raise money this November in the beautiful City of New York for this needy cause.  As a caregiver myself, I believe in the comfort and care of cancer patients and caregivers, so by choosing to run in this marathon I will expand my dedication towards this wonderful cause.”

Maurice Lowman

Marathon Panda Maurice is also returning to TEAM ELIXIR after running for us last year. He has run 27 marathons and 34 half marathons. He is thrilled to be running for us again this year and we feel the same.

Aura Mauricio

Aura will be running her first marathon for TEAM ELIXIR. She was drawn to the Elixir Fund because of our mission. “This is an amazing cause that positively impacts people from all avenues of life.  I am humbled and grateful for the chance to not only run with this charity, but also to help spread the word about such a powerful organization. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and as a avid runner A dream come true.”

Adam Vargulish

Adam was unable to join TEAM ELIXIR last year so we are very excited to have him officially join us this year. He is an avid runner and has completed 25 marathons. “Running has given me the strength to feel good about myself, mentally and physically, and has given me the opportunity to meet so many inspiring people and hopefully I have inspired some of you in the process. For 2019, I have decided to give back and run the NYC Marathon for the Elixir Fund, an organiation dedicated to improving the comfort and care of cancer patients and their caregivers.  I am so excited to run for such a worthy cause! Every little bit helps and anything donated is greatly appreciated! Thank you so much in advance for your support! Go #teamelixir! ”
